_{FACT:  They both actually shower each other with gifts whenever they get the chance, and most of the time it’s just really dumb little things on Patti’s part.}

_{For instance, she might’ve found a flower that had exactly this many even-number of petals on it, or maybe she would’ve actually made something herself; like a cute crayon drawing of them holding hands or something along those lines.  If it’s a special occasion though, she does go pretty full out and has Liz take her on a shopping trip so that she can find one super-duper extra-special thing.  And then she makes him lil sculptures to go with cause what’s better than somethin’ homemade?}

_{Kid usually goes for more extravagant gifts cause he’s a total NERD and seriously just lights up whenever Patti gets excited (she always does tbh he gives her the best things), like fully-paid trips to the amusement park for a date and generally just trips to wherever Patti’s heart so desires, and then there’s always the stuffed animals.  SO.  MANY.  STUFFED ANIMALS. And he’s pretty sure he’s bought literally every animal there is and then some but he buys whatever he thinks Patti’d like the most, and of course, there is a pile of like twenty plush giraffes sitting at the foot of her bed.}  

_{Also one time Kid tried to buy her a fancy ring and Patti was like “BUT LOOK!!!  THERE’S MOOD RINGS OVER HERE THEY’RE SO MUCH COOLER!!!!”  and Kid just sighed and was like jfc patti but he did buy her one and she gave him a very big hug}
