FACT when patti and liz first met dtk and they worked at the cafe dtk was constantly taking patti out of the establishment because of her outbursts (liz didnt like that too much) and patti was really annoyed literally every time and she was usually still kind of angry afterwards
but kid always took her out to calm her down like theyd go somewhere to eat that was quiet and kid would always make sure patti got the kids menu so she could colour and settle or maybe theyd just go to a park and kid would bring a bag of bread so that patti could throw the crumbs to the little ducks and each time patti trusted kid just a little bit more than the last
